Realise your skills assessment

Discover the keys to your successful professional evolution.

What is a skills assessment?

The purpose of a skills assessment is to allow an employee, job seeker or business owner to identify their aspirations (their values, needs, personality) and analyze their skills (their resources, knowledge, and know-how, their soft skills, their added value) in order to define a professional project. This professional project should allow them to improve their level of job satisfaction, as well as develop their employability and secure their career path. It is accompanied by an action plan to implement it. The skills assessment is a positive projection towards the future. It also aims to develop skills, orient oneself and steer one’s career independently.

Supporting a recipient of a skills assessment means supporting an employee, job seeker or business owner in defining a new professional development project. To do this, it is a matter of supporting the recipient through tools such as tests, self-assessment questionnaires and interviews, to:

  • Better identify their aspirations in terms of meaning, values and personality,
  • Better know their skills, talents and potentials,
  • Choose a new profession, a new professional activity,
  • Overcome the material and psychological barriers to their professional development,
  • Gain self-confidence and take action to bring about change,
  • Succeed in making their project a reality and achieving their goals.

The support concludes with the writing of a summary and an action plan. A follow-up interview takes place 6 months after the end of the skills assessment.
